West End

Known affectionately as “Winston-Salem’s Front Porch”, West End Historic District is one of Winston-Salem’s hidden gems. This pedestrian friendly neighborhood is located in a great location near downtown Winston-Salem, and is within easy walking distance of some of the best Winston-Salem has to offer in Arts, Food, and Culture. Within this proud community there are over a dozen restaurants to compliment the great shopping nearby. No doubt about it, this neighborhood offers the best of both worlds when it comes to nearby activities/nightlife and tight-knit urban living.

Designed by Jacob Ludlow  in 1891, West End defies all norms with it’s gently cascading streets and beautiful views. The majority of the homes in the neighborhood feature front porches and are either Queen Anne, Neoclassical, Colonial Revival, or Craftsman in style; offering residents a chance to own their own unique piece of history.
