As one of Winston-Salem’s oldest residential areas,Washington Park is an attractive neighborhood brimming with history. Originally designed in the mid-1890′s by Jacob Ludlow, the neighborhood was centered around a streetcar line and a 75-acre Washington Park. In January, 1992,Washington Park was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Washington Park is a cheerful, active neighborhood tucked away in a great location convenient to downtown Winston-Salem and the nearby School of The Arts.
